Interview with Morpurgo

Me-Hi Michael! Today I’m going to make some questions. First of all, tell me about your personal life.
Morpurgo-I was born in October the 5th of 1943, England. I’m married to Clare Morpurgo, who I had three children with, Sebastian, Horatio and Rosalind.
-Now tell me about you as a writer, how many books have you written
-I have written over a hundred and twenty books
-That’s a lot! And which is the most famous?
-The most famous book I have ever written is Warhorse
-Yes, I have read it!And where did you take your ideas from?
-My ideas came from my imagination mixed with what I have heared and learned
-Great! Where do you write your stories?
-I write them in my bed because it is more comfortable than other places, but I used to write my stories in my desk
-And are your stories true?
-They have some thruth on them but I invent. In my books, fiction and reality are mixed
-Ok! Now I’m asking you two personal questions. First, who are your favourite writers?
-I have three: Robert Louis Stevenson, Rudyord Kipling and Ted hughes
-The last question, what is your favourite book?
-Definitly, my favourite book is “An earg’e in the snow”
